Who we are

CapShift is developed and published by MWJB. This policy explains what data the CapShift app and website process and why.

Data we process

Guest play: you can play without an account. We store an anonymous installation identifier, platform, app version and language, and your progress on this device.

Sign-in (optional): your player name, email address, a hashed password, your language, progress, scores and help credit history. You can also use a website password to manage your account at capshift.mwjb.net/account.

Notifications (optional): only if you allow them, a Firebase Cloud Messaging token for your device and your notification preferences. You can turn them off in the app at any time.

Rewarded videos (optional): Google AdMob shows rewarded ads only when you choose to watch one. Every ad request is marked as child-directed and under the age of consent and limited to G-rated content, so ads are not personalised. The app does not request the Android Advertising ID. We only receive a signed confirmation that a reward was earned.

Why we use it

To run the game, verify scores, sync progress, grant help credits, send notifications you enabled, prevent fraud and keep the service secure.

Service providers

Google Firebase (push notifications) and Google AdMob (rewarded ads). We do not sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account) or at capshift.mwjb.net/account at any time. Access is revoked immediately and your account data is removed shortly after.

Verified rewarded-ad receipts are kept without any link to your name or email for fraud and accounting audits.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data. Contact us using the details on the support page.

Children

CapShift is suitable for all ages (3+) and is designed to follow Google Play's Families policy. Children can play as guests without giving any personal data; sign-in is optional.

Ads are child-directed, non-personalised and G-rated. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond what a parent or guardian chooses to provide when creating an account, and a parent can ask us to delete it at any time.
